Its location was fantastic, 10 minutes drive from Place du Village. I loved all the staff, they were helpful. For safety measures it had smoke detectors.

had an amazing stay at a charming hotel in Val d'Illiez. Room with a view & friendly staff exceeded expectations. Highlight was the delicious local food in the restaurant. Will definitely go back!

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our apartment at Mountain River Resort. The two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and spacious balcony with a view exceeded our expectations. We also enjoyed the complimentary cards that allowed us to enjoy various activities in the area for free or at a discounted rate, including ski-lifts and midget golf. The resort staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations for great hiking trails. Additionally, the apartment was immaculately clean and seemed to be soundproof, as we didn't hear any noise from neighboring units.

Although we appreciated the convenience of having breakfast delivered to our room, it would have been nicer to have the option of choosing which days we wanted breakfast instead of having it every day.

Mountain River was a great find! We got amazing value for our money with a spacious room, big balcony, and stunning mountain view. The location was perfect for easy access to hiking trails and the staff treated us like family.

The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

The nearest airport offered a thrilling taxi ride. The apartment had everything I needed to cook simple dishes while desperately searching for pot holders. Mountain River allowed me to enjoy both hiking and skiing in close proximity.

I absolutely loved the experience of smoke-filled balconies and getting stuck on a narrow road, thanks to the GPS's amazing sense of direction.

I keep coming back because of the friendly staff and great service. They even brought me a bottle of water at night. The resort has everything I need – Wi-Fi, parking, kitchen amenities, TV. Perfect for my city trips!

Some neighboring guests were inconsiderate and smoked on their balconies, causing a disturbance for other guests.
